This ceramic figural money box shows Rupert sitting crossed legged on a tree stump with a whicker basket next to him. He is holding a blue and yellow balloon and has a rucksack on his back where the coin slot is. Comes in it's own pictorial box.

Height 6" (15 cms). 

This bookend/Moneybox was produced by Wedgwood between 1985 and 1988 and is a left side version. It shows Rupert seated on a rock talking to some fish to the front, various charecters climbing over rocks to the back while the side shows book spines with various titles. The slot for the coins is on the top edge and there is a metal stopper on the base.
